U.S. Department of Homeland Security Final Rule on Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).  The new final rule will maintain the existing threshold criteria for DACA and retain the existing process for DACA requestors to seek work authorization.  The final rule will become effective on Monday, October 31, 2022.  This entry was updated to reflect formal publication in the Federal Register on August 30, 2022.
