The University Risk Management and Insurance Association (URMIA) works to promote the advancement and application of effective risk management principles and practices in institutions of higher education. With over 3100 individual members from 900 institutions of higher education and 140 companies, members range from small schools and community colleges to the largest educational institutions. The URMIA Office is in Bloomington, Indiana home of Indiana University.
